Are you a Child of God? If you are, you’re called to fight in a war. A spiritual war. The Church and bible tell us so. They also tell us how to be victorious. Especially using what St. Paul calls “the armor of God.”
There are seven pieces of armor in the armor of God: the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, foot coverings of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, the sword of the spirit, and prayer in the Spirit.
Every week, Richaél Lucero will examine one of the seven. All to find its spiritual meaning and how to actually use it in your daily spiritual battles. She’ll glean wisdom from the Church Fathers, biblical commentaries, contemporary theologians, and the Church. You’ll leave knowing your armor inside and out.
